Audition Notice
Dancers desiring an advanced career in teaching or performing can audition for the Professional Program and the Post-Secondary Teacher Training on Friday, September 3 at 10 am at the Maritime Conservatory School of Dance, 6199 Chebucto Road. Audition fee is $10. For further information or to reserve a time, call the Conservatory (902) 423-6995 or email admin@maritimeconservatory.com. |
Perfect Attendance Award
Any dancer with perfect attendance in any class for the entire dance year (September to June, full-year courses only), will receive a perfect attendance award from the School of Dance. This award is a lot about luck - dancers must hope that school concerts, illnesses, injuries, family events, car break-downs and the like, do not occur on dance day. It's next to impossible! It's also about having fun - hoping that the stars align and that an elusive perfect attendance record can be achieved. We are thrilled to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of dancers and their families to get to dance class each and every week.

Performing Arts Dancewear
will be onsite at the
Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts
Tuesday September 07, 4:00pm – 9:00pm
to provide students with an opportunity to purchase dancewear
tax free plus an additional 10% discount for Conservatory students.
Students will be able to purchase dance shoes, leotards, tights and skirts,
including the recommended uniform for the School of Dance. |
Information Updates
We here at the MCPA School of Dance are trying to reduce the need for printed notices. With our ever-growing student body, printed notices are both environmentally wasteful and costly. We encourage you to check this website and our two bulletin boards (in the lobby area outside of Studio 7A) regularly to stay up to date.
